Looking to raise a hunting lodge to the ground, I ask the local hunter.. "Who owns this establishment"

The hunter looks at my army of un-dead with Valkyries flying overhead.. and says "You own it...sir"

Which confuses me....

At this point I should assume that either of:

1. For each round I have my army sit here, the production value of the farm goes to me, and not the true owner..
2. The farmer is just being cheeky and I should add the corpses of his family to my legion of the dead..

I will investigate this matter and try to unravel the web of lies and half-truths spun by these henchmen and hunters. Is it the local thieves' guild trying to prevent the destruction of a key part of their operation? Is a cult meddling with the minds of those involved, leading to mass confusion and contradictory statements? One thing is sure, something is not right about these hunters.
